Sunday 13th October was noted for it's hot north-westerly winds. The shoot was difficult for both myself and the model Sarah-May. We had agreed to do "modern country girl" shoot at the heritage listed Henry Kendall Cottage in West Gosford. The location was already blowing with hot gale force winds when we arrived for the shoot, but we decided to continue anyway. I abandoned the idea of using umbrellas and softboxes, going instead for one small flash diffuser for the main light source, no diffuser on the secondary flash, and a gridded snoot for the rim light when it was used.
